I'm Kim Willoughby, a passionate, energetic, and art-obsessed luxury wedding photographer based in Las Vegas, with the privilege of traveling worldwide to document extraordinary weddings and celebrations.

I founded SOTE in 2022 after picking up my first camera and instantly falling in love with the ability to freeze time, but even more profoundly, to preserve emotion.

My style is best described as documentary with a splash of editorial. I believe in giving fleeting moments the space to unfold naturally, preserving the beauty and emotion of a wedding day as it happens. Equally, I have a deep appreciation for editorial portraiture, offering clear and precise direction that allows my couples to feel effortlessly beautiful while creating imagery worthy of the pages of a magazine.

I love blending timeless and heirloom digital photography with a true-to-color edit with 35mm & 120mm film photography for that fine-art look of recent luxury weddings. I also love shooting wide instant print film, super 8mm videography and digital 8 camcorder videography for a nostalgic- ethereal and vintage feel.

My couples often praise me for my confident direction, high energy, initiative, positivity, and intentional care. I approach every wedding with a personal investment in their experience, understanding the significance of the moments I'm entrusted to document.
