To many people’s surprise, I used to model for fun for my creative community in Las Vegas and built strong connections with other photographers and filmmakers. There, I learned the literal ins and outs of being both in front of the camera and behind it. At this time, I also was a social media influencer which has helped me with branding, client acquisition, client relations and business building, and that’s how I created SOTE.
What stands out the most to clients when working with me is the direction that I am able to give them at all times to make each photo different and editorial. It sets me apart from many and I contribute my sense of direction to my past.

I can’t talk about myself without mentioning my literal other half, Moses. We met by fate really and immediately I fell in love. After being friends for a little while, it was clear to both of us that we were meant for each other and decided to get married soon after. We also got married during COVID so it was more of an elopement kind of thing for us but I still would love to have a wedding one day! Moses pilots my drones, second shoots my weddings, and takes care of the kids on the days that I have to shoot - he is literally the best business partner ever and my best friend. We will be coming up on 4 years of marriage this year.

At the end of my time here on earth, when I look back, i’ll say my greatest achievement was having my babies. I love them so much, just looking at them brings joy back into my day. They are my life, my sweet little angels, my radiant beams of hope. I had 3 back to back, my son who is my oldest (3), my daughter (2) and my youngest whom I just had is just a wee newborn. I actually was pregnant with my youngest when starting my photography career so she’s my business baby!
