SOTE is an editorial wedding & elopement photographer devoted to capturing multi-day events, high-end weddings, engagements, and romantic elopements for couples who value the art of storytelling and intention.

I founded SOTE after years of working in filmmaking and fashion campaigns, with a desire to capture weddings made to be kept. Every wedding day is personally handled by myself, Kim Willoughby, for a raw, authentic, high-quality service approach.

For many couples, especially those who are deeply intentional about the way their wedding day feels, the goal is no longer to simply host an impressive event, but to create a celebration that is meaningful, personal, elevated, and rooted in the people they love most. I’m Kim Willoughby, a Las Vegas & Destination wedding photographer specializing in editorial and documentary-style imagery for couples who value meaningful moments, thoughtful direction, and photographs made to be kept. And I strive to work in partnership with couples who share the same vision.

A wedding with SOTE can begin with quiet getting-ready moments in a beautiful suite, move into an emotional ceremony surrounded by family and friends, unfold through editorial portraits at an iconic resort, and end with a candlelit reception, flash-filled dance floor, vintage details, and a joyful celebration that feels unforgettable without ever feeling forced. Whether you are planning an intimate Little White Chapel wedding, a vintage Vegas elopement on Fremont Street, romantic portraits at Caesars Palace, a soft and timeless ceremony at The Venetian, a desert elopement near Red Rock Canyon, or a full afternoon moving through the most iconic locations of the city with film, digital, and vintage video woven throughout, elopements with SOTE are always more than just photographs.

My approach blends documentary style wedding photography with editorial direction so your gallery feels both natural and elevated. I believe an elopement should still be cared for with the same thoughtfulness as a larger wedding, from timeline guidance and location planning to helping you understand where the light is best, how the day should flow, and how to feel confident in front of the camera without ever feeling unlike yourself.
