Baylee and Wayne told their friends and family they were coming to Vegas for a bachelor and bachelorette party. But here’s the thing!!!! Instead, they secretly planned an entire wedding, loaded 18 unsuspecting people onto a party bus, and surprised everyone by showing up in full wedding attire with one announcement: "Surprise, we're getting married right now." And honestly? It was one of the most fun, easygoing, and genuinely joyful weddings I've ever photographed.
Before the party bus, before the surprise, before anyone knew what was happening, Baylee and Wayne got ready at their hotel and we knocked out all their traditional wedding portraits. This is such a smart move for surprise weddings. It gave them private, intimate moments together before the chaos. It meant they didn't have to worry about posing for family photos or couple shots after the ceremony when everyone would be buzzing with excitement. And it allowed them to actually be present during the celebration instead of sneaking away for photos. We captured everything: getting ready moments, first look, couples portraits, all the classic shots you'd want from a wedding day. Except no one else knew it was a wedding day yet.
The hotel setting gave us clean, editorial backdrops without the pressure of a timeline or guests waiting. Baylee looked stunning (shoutout to makeupinthe702 for the flawless hair and makeup), and the whole vibe was relaxed and intentional. By the time we were done, they had a full gallery of beautiful wedding photos. And the day hadn't even officially started yet. Read more on the blog...
