What an Intimate Las Vegas Elopement Can Teach You About Ease, Timing, and Trust

Georgia first reached out to me on a Tuesday in August; freshly postpartum, juggling motherhood, and dreaming up an elopement that felt fun, intimate, and nothing like a big traditional wedding. Her words were simple: no ballroom, no massive guest list, just a quick trip to Las Vegas.

And that right there is the first lesson Georgia and Jack’s wedding teaches so well:

You don’t need a fully-formed plan to start—just clarity on how you want to feel.

Georgia didn’t come to me with a venue booked or a timeline locked in. She came with intention. After finding me on TikTok and hopping on a 1:1 call, we talked through what an elopement in Las Vegas could actually look like logistically, emotionally, and realistically. Elopement planning isn’t something anyone is born knowing how to do, and that’s okay. The key is having someone guide you through it with honesty and experience.

Once Georgia understood the flow of the day, she booked her ceremony at The Little White Wedding Chapel for the exact time I recommended: sunset. And this is where the second lesson comes in.

Timing matters more than location.

Sunset isn’t just about pretty light (though it helps). It creates a natural glow to your heart. I feel like as the sun was setting, everyone’s nerves just melted away.

We started at The Venetian, where Georgia had just finished glam with ByMakall (soft, elegant, and still completely her — and just fun convos + bonding.

Your photographer should feel like a calming presence, not a performance director.

Georgia was definitely encouraged by the effortlessness, fun & ease of everything. The louder I was the more confident she became. And Jack, who started the day a little nervous about being in front of the camera, ended it excited and fully bought in.

We ended the evening after their Fremont Street ceremony with my fav flashy editorial vibe, then snuck over to the Las Vegas sign to just really keep it as cheesy as possible!

Georgia and Jack’s wedding wasn’t about doing more.

It was about doing what mattered.

And if you’re a bride reading this, here’s what I hope you take with you:

Plan for how you want to feel. Trust professionals who educate you. Build a day that supports your season of life. And remember—it’s not about them, it’s about you guys. This is just the start.

Georgia and Jack, thank you for trusting me with one of the biggest days of your lives. I’ll never forget it 🤍
