Welcome to the SOTE Wedding Guide! Here, you’ll see my top recommendations, resources & planning options to help you ease the process of planning. I started this idea from all of the brides i’ve helped through TikTok but also, because I get questions about these things all of the time and I wanted one dedicated place for all of the info to live. As a photographer, the most important thing with hair is that the hair does not move. Working with an experienced hairstylist and asking the right questions can help a lot with avoiding this.

As a photographer, your makeup does not need to be “darker” to “show up in photos” this is a very common misconception. Just make sure your makeup is locked in place and you have touch ups. Doing your own makeup isn’t a bad thing but it would look more bridal if you had a makeup artist.

    Rose is great at doing both glam and natural makeup. She’s amazing and i’ve worked with her on multiple occasions and her brides always look like a model. She does great with blending and makeup that makes you look enhanced.

    Andie does both hair and makeup and does great full coverage makeup. I’ve worked with her many times and she’s super sweet and accommodating.

    MaKall
    MaKall is a great artist if you want to explore her team options, or if you want her signature look that leans onto the natural and soft side. She does great with makeup that doesn’t look too heavy. I’ve worked with MaKall multiple times and she’s very sweet.

    Glammed Up Vegas
    This company is amazing and has talented artists on their team. I’ve worked with them on multiple occasions.

Whether you’re looking for a small limo to take you around, or large transportation services to take your entire party around, it’s important to go with a trustworthy company. The services below are reliable & services my couples have booked before. I always recommend getting a limo/driver but Ubers do the job just fine too!

Cakes are a wonderful detail that you can add into your photos to give it that truly wedding-esque and special feel. There are so many talented cake artists around the city and I love recommending the designs that I love the most. You should always ask if you can have your cake delivered in the morning and photograph it in your hotel room if you can, or at your reception. I don’t recommend bringing it around during your photos since it’s dangerous for the cake and it’s heavy to carry.

As a photographer, these are beautiful venues with their unique style but please remember some may charge an outside photographer fee. Yes, this is a hefty fee. Their photographers are not gonna be the best photographers (i could go on about this) and you might end up paying less just to bring someone in and pay them for photos before and after ceremony rather than getting scammed and having to purchase your “extra” photos from the venue photographer that aren’t the best looking.

Choosing the perfect photographer can be the most fun but the hardest experience. As a photographer, the most important thing you should look for is a photographer that has a solid contract in place, a policy for reschedules, cancellations, if they are sick, etc, and ensuring their quality of work is of the highest standard. Look into full galleries if you can, not just the instagram stuff. And file an inquiry when you feel ready to book.

Though the options are pretty limited in Vegas for videographers, there are a few really great ones. I would recommend if you want something on a smaller scale to hire a photography and videography DUO so that you can have similar styles. The videographers listed below are amazing options.

Content creators are 100% worth it if you have the right one. Oftentimes a content creator and a photographer might butt heads so it’s important that you get a content creator that is familiar with working with other photographers or is well known amongst photographers in the area.
