A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY FILLED RECEPTION in THE HILLS of STALLION MOUNTAIN BY WEDGEWOOD WEDDINGS
Vy and Cuong reached out to me to photograph their gorgeous reception held at Stallion Mountain by Wedgewood Weddings after their marriage ceremony had already taken place prior in Vietnam. This event hit close to home for me because I myself am Vietnamese and it really felt like I was surrounded by family, the way that they treated me so kindly.
I began by showing up a bit early to put all of my equipment down, then I went and took Vy and Cuong to the outside of the reception room to photograph them during golden hour outside. I gave them posing direction that was still modest, yet very fun and lighthearted considering this was their celebration and reception.
Afterwards, we carried on into their cocktail hour with the guests where I acted as their personal paparazzi and photographed them with every single family member that wanted a photo, as well as capturing photos for the guests per their request.
We moved on into the reception, where Vy and Cuong made their grand entrance, Cuong gave probably one of the best speeches i’ve heard in my life, hilariously highlighting every guest that showed up and giving his wife an honorable mention at the end, and Vy ending off the speech with “any last words” after Cuong asked her if she could say any last words… hilarious.
I floated for another 2 hours taking photos of their guests and family, the dancing and fun memories that were being created, then finished off the night at the Photo Booth which is where everyone ended up gravitating. It was so fun and refreshing and overall an amazing time.
